As every summer, festivals are the stars in Altea. This week in the district of\u00a0Partida Barranquet<\/strong>\u00a0the festivities in honor of\u00a0Sant Lluis<\/strong>\u00a0(brochure\u00a0link<\/a>)\"Imagen-semana-del-22-al-28-de-agosto-1024x723\"<\/a><\/p>\n

On\u00a0Tuesday 23rd<\/strong>, you have a chance to learn about artisan fishing with\u00a0The Fishermen\u2019s Route<\/strong>, guided boat trip and visit to the fishing port. More information on this\u00a0link<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

On\u00a0Thursday 25<\/strong>th\u00a0at 21:00 hours, we can enjoy the music with the program\u00a0M\u00fasica a Boqueta Nit<\/strong>, that will bring this week the performance of\u00a0A Boqueta Nit Big Band<\/strong>\u00a0(more information in the\u00a0link<\/a>).<\/p>\n

On\u00a0Friday<\/strong>\u00a026<\/strong>th\u00a0perfomance of the\u00a0National Ballet of Ucrania<\/strong>\u00a0at 20 h. in\u00a0Palau Altea<\/strong>(more information\u00a0here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

On\u00a0Saturday 27<\/strong>\u00a0th\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>at 10 h.\u00a0Sailing Regatta\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cCrist Esports 2016\u201d gamba mode at the bay of Altea. You can see all the programme of the previous acts to the fiestas of Altea in this\u00a0link<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0Saturday 27<\/strong>\u00a0th\u00a0<\/strong>concert of the\u00a0Societat Recreativa Musical d\u2019Altea la Vella<\/strong>\u00a0at 21\u201930 h. in the Plaza de la Iglesia of Altea la Vella.<\/p>\n

There is also a time for sports this week, on\u00a0Wednesday 24th<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Friday 26th<\/strong>\u00a0of August\u00a0Snorkel guided tours<\/strong>\u00a0will take place. Wednesday they will visit the coast from the beach of\u00a0La Olla<\/strong>, while Friday they will start at the beach of\u00a0El Mascarat<\/strong>. In both cases the output will be at 09:45 hours. Moreover, we can enjoy all week with the\u00a0Mostra d\u2019Artesania\u00a0<\/strong>(Handicrafts fair), located in Church Square from 19:30 to 00:30 h., also of the\u00a0Balconades d\u2019Altea<\/strong>, an exhibition of paintings by artists of the area which are hung on the balconies of the houses, in the Church Square, and adjacent streets (more information\u00a0here<\/a>). In the street Portal Vell, you can enjoy\u00a0the Fira of the Xicotet Format<\/strong>, where various artists from Altea show their small pieces from 20:00 to 01:00 h. (further information\u00a0here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Another of the samples that we can enjoy from Monday to Sunday is the\u00a0Art Mirant la Mar<\/strong>, located on Passeig Mediterrani, from 18:30 to 00:30 hours from Monday to Thursday and until 01:30 from Friday to Sunday.<\/p>\n

The cultural offer in Altea completes with the exhibition\u00a0Casal Fester Museum<\/strong>, where Moors and Christians show their finery in the Casa de Cultura at the 14 Pont de Montcau Street (open Monday to Friday from 10 to 14 h and from 17 to 20 h \u2013 admission free) and with the\u00a0Museo Parroquial de la Iglesia de Ntra.\u00a0<\/strong>Sra. del Consuelo<\/strong>, where you can admire liturgical objects such as chalices, chasubles and parish books of great historical value that come to date from the year 1640 (the exhibition will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30 to 13:30 and 16:30 to 18:30 hours \u2013 more on this\u00a0link<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
